Caregiver Position at Avalon Essential Home Care

Avalon Essential Home Care is seeking compassionate, energetic, and dependable caregivers for a male client requiring specialized care.

Position Details:

• Client: Male, quadriplegic
• Schedule: 13 days per week
• Shifts available:
• 7:00 A.M. 7:00 P.M.
• 7:00 P.M. 7:00 A.M.
• Shift length: 12 hours

Care Requirements Include:

• Peri-care
• Bowel program/training PRN
• Repositioning every 2 hours
• Medication reminders
• Homemaking duties

Additional Information:

• Client has a German shepherd, so applicants must be comfortable working in a home with a dog.

Qualifications:

• CNA preferred
• Experience with Hoyer lifts and complex care strongly recommended

Qualifications:

• Rights to work in the United States
• Valid drivers license or state ID
• Auto insurance
• Criminal background check
• Be flexible and accommodate for weekends
• Hoyer lift experience
• To work independently with minimum direct supervision
• Negative TB skin test
• CPR/First Aid
• Be professional with clean attire
• 3 verifiable work references
• Have reliable transportation
