Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Every other weekend required | Holiday coverage required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 54-bed Medical Surgical unit with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Perform and document patient assessments and interventions using Epic EMR
• Demonstrate proficient IV start skills as required for patient care needs
• Float within scope to like units or sister facilities as needed to meet staffing demands
• Participate in holiday coverage as scheduled, including applicable facility-recognized holidays
• During hurricane season (June–November), be prepared for potential assignment to emergency response teams as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical RN experience
• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Proficient IV start skills required
• Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be given priority consideration; local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Telemetry monitoring experience
• Experience with management of cardiac drips (cardiac gtts)
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
