Location: Brookfield, CT Area
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Adecco is seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Clerk for an immediate Direct Hire opportunity with a respected manufacturing company in the Brookfield, Connecticut area. This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable warehouse professional who enjoys a hands-on role and is looking for long-term career stability.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, shortages, and damage
Operate a forklift to transport materials and inventory throughout the facility
Prepare outbound shipments according to customer specifications and shipping requirements
Load and unload trucks and trailers safely and efficiently
Provide accurate shipping weights and dimensions to support customer orders
Unpack and stock materials into inventory locations
Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory activities
Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient shipping and receiving area
Qualifications
3 to 5 years of recent Shipping & Receiving experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred
Forklift certification with at least 1 to 2 years of recent operating experience required
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Reliable work ethic and commitment to workplace safety
