The ideal candidate is an ambitious, hard-working individual who takes pride in serving customers and leading a team.Warehouse Manager Responsibilities:Plan, implement, and organize all Cedar Rapids warehouse operations in partnership with the Warehouse Operations ManagerManage, train, and evaluate warehouse employees and determine staffing needsEvaluate shipping processes, including deliveries, routes, and staffingComply with all warehousing, material handling, and shipping regulatory requirementsMaintain the physical condition of the warehouse by inspecting equipment, arranging repairs, and requisitioning replacementsMaintain the cleanliness and overall condition of the warehouse, dock area, and groundsContinuously plan warehouse resources and activities in alignment with company objectives and established targetsEnsure workplace health and safety requirements are metEnsure the proper transfer of products between branches, buildings, and customersCarry out supervisory responsibilities for the Cedar Rapids warehouse in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and applicable lawsFacilitate communication between the warehouse, branches, departments, and senior managementConduct ongoing employee evaluations and assess staffing needsProvide leadership, training, mentoring, and development for warehouse team membersRequirements for Warehouse Manager:Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in a related field and/or three to five years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experienceComprehensive computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProven ability to implement process improvement initiativesStrong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skillsAbility to pass the required screening process for employment IND345Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions has the resources of a large company but the feel and personalized customer service of a small one.
