Retail Group Manager, Atlanta GAWhat this job involves:As a Retail Group Manager at JLL, you'll be at the forefront of delivering exceptional property management and operational excellence for a dynamic retail portfolio, around the Atlanta market. This role places you in a leadership position where you'll oversee all facets of day-to-day operations, tenant relations, financial performance, and strategic planning for retail properties under your purview. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for property owners and stakeholders, ensuring their investment objectives are met while cultivating an environment where tenants and their customers thrive. You'll lead a multidisciplinary team, manage vendor relationships, oversee capital improvement projects, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. This position requires a strategic thinker who can balance the financial, operational, and relational aspects of retail property management while fostering a workplace culture where your team is empowered to deliver their best work.What your day-to-day will look like:Oversee all operational aspects of assigned retail properties, located within the Atlanta GA market, including maintenance, security, cleaning, and tenant services to ensure seamless daily operationsDevelop and manage annual operating budgets, financial forecasts, and variance reports while identifying opportunities to optimize revenue and control expensesBuild and maintain strong relationships with tenants, addressing concerns promptly and working collaboratively to support their business success and lease complianceLead, mentor, and develop your on-site team, fostering a culture of accountability, professional growth, and collaborative problem-solvingCoordinate and oversee capital improvement projects, renovations, and major repairs from planning through execution, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budgetConduct regular property inspections to maintain high standards of presentation, safety, and functionality across all retail spaces and common areasPrepare comprehensive reports and presentations for ownership, providing insights on property performance, market trends, and strategic recommendationsManage vendor and contractor relationships, negotiate service agreements, and ensure all work meets quality standards and contractual obligationsEnsure full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, lease agreements, and JLL policies while proactively managing risk and liabilityRequired qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Property Management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum of 7-10 years of commercial property management experience, with at least 5 years specifically in retail property managementProven track record of managing multi-tenant retail properties with demonstrable success in operational excellence and financial performanceStrong financial acumen with experience developing and managing budgets, analyzing financial statements, and implementing cost-control strategiesExceptional leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and retain high-performing staffExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with tenants, ownership groups, vendors, and internal stakeholdersProficiency in property management software systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and financial reporting toolsValid driver's license and reliable transportation for property visits and stakeholder meetingsPreferred qualifications:Certified Property Manager (CPM), Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM), or Real Property Administrator (RPA) designationExperience managing regional shopping centers, lifestyle centers, or mixed-use properties with significant retail componentsDemonstrated expertise in lease administration, tenant improvement coordination, and lease renewal negotiationsBackground in capital project management, including experience with ground-up construction or major redevelopment initiativesKnowledge of sustainable building practices and experience implementing environmental initiatives within retail propertiesBilingual capabilities to serve diverse tenant and customer populations effectivelyThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
