Laundry Attendant

Description Operate commercial washers, dryers, presses, and folding equipment safely and efficiently. Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens, towels, bedding, and employee uniforms. Process guest laundry requests accurately and within established service timelines. Inspect linens and uniforms for stains, damage, or wear and report items requiring repair or replacement. Maintain proper inventory levels and organization of linen storage areas. Follow established chemical handling and laundry procedures to ensure quality and safety standards. Ensure all laundry equipment is clean and functioning properly; report maintenance issues promptly. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laundry facility at all times. Assist Housekeeping and other departments with linen distribution as needed. Adhere to Hilton brand standards, hotel policies, and safety regulations. Support sustainability initiatives through efficient use of water, energy, and laundry supplies. Provide courteous and professional service to guests and team members. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous laundry, housekeeping, or hospitality experience preferred. Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic understanding of laundry chemicals and safety procedures preferred. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift. Ability to work in a warm and humid environment.
