Join Our Team as a Babysitter/Drop-In Childcare Provider!

The Dixon Family YMCA in Dixon, IL, is seeking enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our team as Babysitting/Drop-In Childcare Providers. If you’re passionate about creating a safe and fun environment for kids while building meaningful relationships with families, this is the perfect role for you!

As a Babysitting/Drop-In Childcare Provider, you’ll play an essential role in ensuring children have a positive and engaging experience while their parents utilize YMCA services. Your responsibilities will include:

• Greeting families and children with a warm welcome as they enter the classroom.
• Ensuring all parents have keycards and complete registration forms.
• Creating a safe, age-appropriate, and fun atmosphere for children.
• Communicating effectively with families as needed.
• Following ratio guidelines and setting appropriate boundaries.
• Releasing children only to the person who dropped them off.
• Keeping an accurate count of children at all times.
