Location: Bedford, IN
Job Type: Contract
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | Monday – Thursday | 40 Hours/Week

Schedule Details:

Monday: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
Tuesday: 7:00 AM–6:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM–6:00 PM
Thursday: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM

Local Candidates Required: Yes
Traveler Candidates Required: Yes

Pay Rate: $24 – $26/hr

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to support front and back-office operations, provide clinical support, and assist with patient care and administrative duties.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience plus externship.
Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience.
EMR experience.
Front and back-office experience.
Recent experience with scheduling, patient rooming, and vital signs.
BLS or CPR certification.
Strong communication and computer skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

Medical Assistant Certification.
EKG experience.
Point-of-care (POC) testing experience.
Athena EMR experience.

Responsibilities

Support front and back-office operations.
Greet and room patients.
Schedule appointments and answer phones.
Obtain and document vital signs.
Perform blood draws and venipuncture.
Administer vaccines.
Perform EKG and POC testing.
Maintain accurate patient records.
Provide clinical support and collaborate with center staff and healthcare providers.
