Wound Care Physician MD/DO Nurse Practitioner PA – Charleston, ILLocation: Charleston, IL and surrounding areasSchedule: Full-Time, 5 days per week, or Part-Time, 3 days per weekCompensation: Competitive compensation based on patient volume and procedures, with additional skin sweep and biologics earning opportunities.MedStaff Group is recruiting on behalf of a growing wound care organization seeking an MD, DO, NP, or PA to provide wound care services in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities throughout the Charleston region.Territory CoverageArcola, Bement, Casey, Charleston, Chrisman, Effingham, Greenup, Marshall, Neoga, Newton, Oblong, Paris, Robinson, and Tuscola. Additional potential coverage may develop within a one-hour radius.Schedule and Patient VolumePart-time: 3 days per week, approximately 75–90 encounters weekly across 6–9 facilities.Full-time: 5 days per week, approximately 120–140 encounters weekly across 12–15 facilities.ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive wound assessments and develop treatment plans.Perform debridement and minor procedures within your scope of practice.Counsel patients and collaborate with facility nursing teams.Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.Travel between assigned facilities throughout the territory.QualificationsActive, unrestricted Illinois MD, DO, NP, or PA license and appropriate clinical credentials.Wound care or long-term care experience preferred.Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills.Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the region.If you are looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in long-term care, we would love to hear from you.
