Financial Counselor

Virtual Vocations Inc

To support a growing fertility practice, the full-time Financial Counselor will assist patients with treatment estimates, determine insurance coverage, and educate them on financial options while working remotely during PST hours. Key responsibilities Furnish patients and healthcare providers with estimates related to upcoming treatment Collect estimated liabilities from patients and apply payments to patient accounts Communicate financial status and resolve issues related to patient accounts receivables Required qualifications A Bachelor's degree 2+ years of experience in fertility or healthcare Proficient knowledge of medical terminology and billing practices Proficiency in MS Office and experience with electronic medical records Flexible availability, including some weekends and holidays
