Registered Nurse

This position is for a night shift in a Progressive Care Unit. The assignment is for a duration of 8 weeks. Candidates must confirm they are aware of and comfortable with the assignment details. First-time travelers are accepted. Local travelers are not accepted for this position. Candidates must be willing to float to Med/Surg as required. Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Guaranteed hours are outlined as 36-48 hours per week depending on shifts. Patient demographics include adults and geriatrics. The daily patient census averages around 28. The unit supports interdisciplinary teams, including therapy and rapid response services. Patient diagnoses include cardiac, respiratory, neurological, gastrointestinal, and mental health issues. Special procedures include cardioversions and EKG tests. Travelers are required to adhere to compliance requirements regarding education and licensing. Certifications should align with the specific needs of the unit. Candidates must have a clear understanding of the responsibilities involved before submitting for the position.
