What You’ll Do As a Convenience Store Associate , you’ll play a key role in delivering an excellent customer experience while keeping store operations running smoothly: Provide friendly, fast, and accurate customer service Operate POS system / cash register (cash, credit cards, EBT, prepaid cards, lottery, checks) Follow all cash handling procedures and company policies Maintain compliance with alcohol, tobacco, lottery, and fuel regulations Support food safety standards and cleanliness requirements Stock shelves, coolers, and merchandise displays Perform cleaning, merchandising, and daily store tasks Assist with maintaining a safe, organized retail environment Work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Previous experience in retail, cashiering, customer service, or food service is a plus Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Basic math and computer/POS skills Reliable attendance and flexible availability Training & Certifications TankSmart Certification (Level C) – training provided Why Join Freshies?
