Workers Compensation Claims Examiner | Long Beach or Roseville, CA

Position: Workers Compensation Claims Examiner Location: Long Beach or Roseville, California (2 days in office, 3 days remote) Primary purpose: To analyze workers' compensation claims on behalf of clients to determine benefits due, ensuring adjudication within service expectations, best practices, and client requirements. Essential Responsibilities Analyze and process claims through well-developed action plans to reach appropriate and timely resolution by investigating and gathering information to determine claim exposure. Negotiate settlement of claims within designated authority. Communicate claim activity and processing with the claimant and the client. Report claims to the excess carrier and respond to requests for directions in a timely professional manner. Qualifications 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Professional certification in line of business preferred. California workers' compensation claims experience required; SIP preferred. Effective communication, analytical, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills. Ability to handle work-related stress and meet deadlines. Benefits Flexible work schedule. Referral incentive program.
