Job Summary: Loenbro is seeking an experienced Controls Technician to assist with the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of automated infrastructure control systems on new data center builds. Job Duties Follows all site Safety policies/procedures Proficient in using P&IDs, schematics, and loop sheets Wire PLCs and other various control devices Troubleshoot and install VFDs Knowledge ofsynchronous motor Repairs and calibrates flow, pressure, level, and temperature instrumentation Installs or removes field and panel mounted equipment Installs and sets pressure, temperature, flow, level switches, and monitoring devices Improves and enhances teamwork, and efficiency Assist in the training and development of new employees. Other duties as assigned Skills/Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Previous electrical experience, Journeyman’s license preferred Ability to read equipment prints and secure information from OEM manuals Proficient with measurement tools like voltmeters Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Ability to complete projects safely and in a timely manner Ability to work across multiple groups Self-starter with a keen ability to multi-task Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions in technically difficult situations Ability to understand and use instrument calibration and electrical testing equipment. Ability to read and interpret various drawings such as P&IDs, SWDs, and single line diagrams.
