Quick Facts Location: Atlantic City, NJ (also covering Egg Harbor Township and Hammonton) Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing until a permanent neurologist is hired Shift: Monday Friday, approximately 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. Hours/week: 40 Employment Type: Contract Licenses/Certifications: Active, unrestricted New Jersey medical license; DEA and NJ CDS certifications; BLS Experience: General neurology outpatient experience preferred; board certification or eligibility required Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $234.00 Benefits: Pay package discussed upon application; clinical support and collaborative team environment What You ll Do Evaluate and manage adult and geriatric outpatient neurology patients Treat conditions including headache, seizure disorders, neuropathy, movement disorders, MS, cognitive disorders, and post-stroke follow-up Review diagnostic imaging, labs, and outside records; order appropriate tests Coordinate care with primary care providers, specialists, and the broader neuroscience team Maintain timely documentation and follow-up in Cerner/Oracle Fusion EMR Work across multiple outpatient locations, providing consistent, high-quality care Support patient education and chronic disease management What You Need Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology Active, unrestricted New Jersey medical license DEA and NJ CDS registration prior to start BLS certification Outpatient neurology experience preferred; ability to operate independently Willingness to rotate among Atlantic City, Egg Harbor Township, and Hammonton About the Assignment This outpatient neurology position supports a well-established neuroscience program serving southern New Jersey communities. The provider will join an interdisciplinary team focused on delivering excellent outpatient care, with schedules and site assignments coordinated in advance to meet patient demand and operational needs.
