Support Associate Relations Specialist, Human Resources -South Florida

DescriptionThe HR Support Associate Relations Specialist is a key partner in helping Publix remain a Great Place To Work. This role provides internal customers with effective HR solutions to meet a range of business challenges and ensure compliance with employment laws, Publix policy, and our company values. Key responsibilities include conducting investigations, making recommendations to management, providing guidance for performance management, advising leadership on policies and retention strategies, and delivering training. SARS often participate in cross-functional efforts and are trusted advisers to leaders at all levels of the organization. It is satisfying to work for — and be an owner of — a Fortune 100 company that is widely recognized as a leader in the supermarket industry.Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in any field, or equivalent experienceAny combination of the following totaling two years:Managing or leading peopleWorking in an HR Generalist role, including advising on employee relations, organizational development, staffing, selection/performance, etc.Assessing HR-related employment situations and presenting recommendations to higher-level leaders (e.g., a manager evaluating employee performance and submitting performance reviews or pay recommendations; an HR associate investigating and responding to associate or labor relations matters, etc.)Serving as an associate relations coordinatormust be at least 20 years oldmust have a valid driver license and maintain an excellent driving recordability and willingness to work variable and long hours in a sometimes contentious legal environmentflexible in dealing with a variety of situations and assignmentsability and willingness to travel, including overnightexcellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skillshigh level of maturity, discretion, tact, judgment and the ability to deal with confidential mattersability to work well with others and be a team member in a positive mannershow enthusiasm, initiative and pride in work, and acommitment to Publix and our Mission.
