We are hiring an Entry-Level Communications Assistant to support charity campaigns, community outreach initiatives, and live events . This is a hands-on opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with people and want to develop practical experience in communications, public relations, community engagement, and event coordination .

No previous communications, marketing, or event experience is required. Paid training and ongoing guidance are provided.

Position Summary

As a Communications Assistant, you will help represent nonprofit and mission-driven organizations at community events, promotional programs, and outreach initiatives. You will communicate campaign information directly to the public, assist with event activities, and work with the team to ensure outreach programs run smoothly.

This is an in-person, people-focused position centered on face-to-face communication and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent nonprofit and charitable organizations at live events and community programs
• Communicate campaign information clearly and professionally to attendees and community members
• Answer questions and provide information about nonprofit programs and initiatives
• Assist with community outreach and public awareness activities
• Support event setup, organization, coordination, and breakdown
• Assist with registration areas, information booths, promotional displays, and event materials
• Maintain a friendly, professional, and approachable presence
• Work alongside team members during outreach and fundraising activities
• Help create a positive experience for event attendees and supporters
• Track basic engagement information and provide feedback to team leaders
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and campaign briefings

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. College students, recent graduates, and candidates with experience in retail, hospitality, restaurants, customer service, sales, fundraising, or other public-facing roles are encouraged to apply.
