Head Football Athletic Trainer

Overview The Athletic Department is seeking a Head Football Athletic Trainer to assist with the prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries for the sport of football and other programs as assigned. Responsibilities Provide injury care and rehabilitative services. Provide guidance, work direction, and training to another full‑time athletic trainer, graduate assistant, and student athletic trainers. Qualifications Master’s degree in sports medicine or a related field with experience in a similar position. Board of Certification (BOC) certification required. South Dakota Athletic Trainer licensure eligible. Familiarity with NCAA Division I preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
