Join us in shaping a new era in space and find a career that's built for you.Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesAs a Quality Engineer, you will work within a production / manufacturing environment ensuring product compliance through accurate work instruction and drawing reviews, audit preparation and compliance, and supporting documentation and resolution of any nonconformances. This role will be expected to work cross-functionally, with program/customer representatives, to execute compliance and resolving/communicating technical issues. Will be responsible to dive process improvements and cost savings utilizing a continuous improvement mentality. This position be supporting the build and testing of ordnance devices on-site full time in Courtland, AL. Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree from an accredited college in technical discipline (e.g., engineering field) or equivalent discipline (e.g., STEM fields) Experience in QMS (e.g., AS9100)Ability to comprehend and interpret drawings, work instructions, schematics, and specificationsExperience supporting test and/or product acceptance Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, processes and best practicesProficient Computer/MS Office skills/look up specifications/military standardsEffective written and communication skills with attention to detailCan work independently/self-motivatedAbility to obtain/maintain Secret security clearanceDesired SkillsOrdnance experienceExperience with SAP/ERP, VECAMS/Apriso Demonstrated ability to work at all levels of the organization to analyze data and communicate findings to multi-functional stakeholders and customersGreen Belt Trained and/or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)Experience driving robust Corrective Actions Root Cause and Corrective ActionExperience with PR/MRB process (PR/QMRB certification preferred)Understands lean manufacturing and quality optimization in a production environment2+ years of related experience specifically in Quality / Production / Engineering / Manufacturing environmentPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
