Emergency Department Registered NurseThis is a 13-week contract position.Shifts include 7a-7p, 11a-11p, 3p-3a, and 7p-7a. Availability for every other weekend and flexible holiday requirements is necessary.The Emergency Department Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment. You will work collaboratively with a team of RNs and support staff in a 10-14 bed Emergency Department. You will engage in patient triage, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and participate in urgent care processes.Perform ESI triage and maintain patient flow.Administer IV medications and perform infusions as necessary.Conduct assessments, document findings, and perform EKGs.Participate in procedural sedation and apply restraints as required.Assist in ambulance transport of patients requiring transfer to higher care facilities.Collaborate in multilevel emergency care, including telemedicine consultations.Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in an Emergency Department setting.At least 1 completed travel contract.Required certifications include AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS or ENPC, NRP, NIHSS, and TNCC.EPIC documentation experience within the last 2 years is non-negotiable.Charge nurse experience is highly preferred.At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
