Job Title: ED Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour; Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year of Emergency Department RN experience required License: California RN Licensure Certifications: BLS (AHA) ACLS PALS NIHSS Must-Have: Ability to provide competent and compassionate patient care Experience with evidence-based nursing practice Willingness to float to other locations as needed Description: Provides competent and compassionate patient care. Delivers cost-effective care in accordance with policies and standards. Requires knowledge of scientific principles and nursing objectives. Must be able to perform various emergency nursing skills. Every other weekend rotation is required. No on-call requirement. Travelers may be required to float to other locations if census permits. Familiarity with the Epic charting system is preferred. Must have experience managing a variety of patient conditions. Responsibilities include providing care for neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Must be prepared to handle high-acuity situations in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Must comply with all regulatory and safety protocols.
