About the Position

Job Opportunity – Operating Room Nurse – Florida

Start Date: September 8, 2026

Location: Bradenton, Florida

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Varying days off depending on OR needs and call schedule. Call required 4-5 times per month, including a minimum of one weekend day. Weekday call shifts run from 5:00 PM - 6:30 AM with a 30-minute callback time. Day off provided the day following call when operationally feasible.

Highlights:

• Perform scrubbing and circulating duties for a diverse range of operative procedures
• Experience with robotics, orthopedic, and urology specialties required; additional specialties preferred excluding eyes, hearts, thoracic, and vascular
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams to deliver high-quality intraoperative patient care
• Prepare operating rooms, assemble equipment and supplies, and ensure all instruments and implants are available and functional
• Serve as a communication liaison between patients, families, and the operative team
• Candidates must reside at least 100 miles away from the facility

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of operating room nursing experience
• Current RN license in good standing
• ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Demonstrated expertise in robotics, orthopedic, and urology procedures
• Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and perioperative standards
