Job Opportunity – Physician Assistant – Cardiac Surgery ICU – New York

Start Date: June 1, 2026
Location: Syracuse, New York
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Monday through Friday, day/evening shifts, 40-50 hours per week

Highlights:

• Inpatient ICU and step-down coverage with a focus on cardiac surgery patients
• Average patient load of up to 10 notes per day, plus phone coverage for all inpatients
• Collaborative environment with supervising physicians and critical care physicians on-site
• EPIC EMR system in use throughout the facility
• Nonoperative role – no OR experience required
• Contract runs through October 2026

Requirements:

• Active New York Physician Assistant license
• Current NCCPA certification
• ACLS certification
• ICU or critical care experience required – cardiac critical care strongly preferred
• EPIC EMR experience required
• No new graduates – experienced providers only
