Responsibilities
- Provide bedside nursing care for interventional radiology patients before, during, and after procedures
- Prepare procedural suites, assist during IR procedures, manage patient monitoring, and support sedation as directed
- Monitor vital signs, telemetry, hemodynamics, and post-procedure recovery; identify and respond to complications
- Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate documentation in the medical record
- Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and other care team members to ensure patient safety and quality care
- Ensure sterile technique, equipment readiness, and work with cross-disciplinary teams during stress testing and procedures
- Respond to emergencies using approved protocols and escalate to the physician as needed
- Complete charting, charge capture, and compliance with regulatory and safety standards

Requirements
- Active RN license (Massachusetts) required
- Certifications: BLS; ACLS (AHA) required
- Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology nursing experience
- Current AHA BLS Certification; ACLS required
- Pass Telemetry Competency Exam; Dysrhythmia (20 questions) and Medication (20 questions) tests administered prior to assignment
- Documented professional development activities
- Ability to work in an IR/interventional setting and handle reflective, high-stress situations
- Orientation and onboarding with mandatory tests completed within specified timelines
- No recent separation required beyond six months for certain prior employers per assignment rules
- No local residency within 50 miles of the facility

Education
- Registered Nurse licensure in good standing; completion of an approved nursing program
