Registered Nurse (RN) - Interventional Radiology

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Interventional Radiology to join a high‑performing team in a fast-paced procedural environment. Support a variety of minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures by collaborating with physicians, technologists, and nurses. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, serving as a primary or accountable nurse based on patient safety needs. Educate patients and families on health promotion, treatment plans, and disease management. Utilize pharmacology knowledge to administer medications safely, adhering to policies and standards. Participate in quality improvement, peer review, and evidence-based practice initiatives while supporting new staff and ongoing professional development. Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, uphold ethical standards, and contribute to a supportive team environment. Must have an active NY RN license; BSN preferred, with experience in acute or ambulatory settings desirable. Prior IR experience is preferred but not mandatory. Requires adaptability, strong communication, teamwork, and reliability, including on-call availability with a 30-minute response time. Work environment involves patient care areas with frequent walking, standing, and exposure to disinfectants and PPE.
