\n Sutter West Bay Medical Group is seeking a motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our high-performing Neurosurgery team in San Francisco. This is an opportunity to work side-by-side with nationally recognized neurosurgeons and advanced practice clinicians in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.\n

\n What You ll Do \n

\n You ll play a key role in guiding patients through every stage of their neurosurgical journey including:\n

\n

\n
• Managing new and follow-up visits in the ambulatory setting
\n
• Conducting telehealth consultations via Epic
\n
• Supporting pre- and post-operative care planning
\n
• Coordinating care across inpatient and outpatient teams
\n
• Triaging referrals and managing clinical communications
\n
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies in collaboration with physicians
\n
• Educating patients and families to ensure confident care decisions
\n

• Work in a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary team

• Partner with experienced neurosurgeons who value APP autonomy

\n Qualifications:\n

\n Education \n

\n
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) program
\n

\n Licensure & Certifications \n

\n
• Active and unrestricted California NP or PA license
\n
• DEA Controlled Substance Registration (CSRC)
\n
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
\n
• Additional certifications as required by the department
\n

\n Experience \n

\n
• Prior surgical or neurosurgery experience preferred
\n
• Candidates with a strong interest in neuroscience and surgical care are encouraged to apply
