Vert Treatment Centers is seeking an experienced Clinical Supervisor to lead the clinical operations of our substance use disorder treatment program.

This position is responsible for guiding the clinical team, supporting regulatory compliance, and maintaining high standards of documentation, treatment planning, and patient care. The Clinical Supervisor plays an important role in creating a structured, patient-centered treatment environment while helping ensure clinical records and services meet applicable state, federal, and accreditation requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership
* Supervise and mentor counselors and clinical staff providing substance use disorder treatment services.
* Ensure staff follow established clinical protocols, ethical standards, and organizational policies.
* Provide individual clinical supervision and guidance to support quality care delivery.

Documentation Oversight
* Oversee clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
* Review assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
* Help ensure documentation supports medical necessity and applicable authorization requirements.
* Conduct regular chart reviews and quality assurance monitoring.

Program Compliance
* Maintain knowledge of applicable requirements, including:
* Maryland COMAR requirements
* Federal substance use disorder treatment regulations
* SAMHSA standards
* DEA requirements, where applicable
* CARF and other accreditation standards, where applicable
* Participate in quality improvement and utilization review activities.

Patient-Centered Care
* Promote a welcoming, respectful, and supportive treatment environment.
* Coordinate services among counseling staff, medical providers, and administrative personnel.
* Maintain a limited caseload and provide individual or group counseling when needed.

Program Development
* Assist with the development and maintenance of policies, procedures, and clinical protocols.
* Support program growth and continuous improvement.
* Work closely with leadership to support effective program operations.

Minimum Qualifications
Candidates should meet applicable Maryland credentialing and supervision requirements. Preferred qualifications include:
* Maryland clinical license or substance use disorder credential, such as LCADC, LCPC, LCSW-C, LMFT, CAC-AD, or other qualifying Maryland credential.
* Eligibility or approval to provide clinical supervision where required.
* Minimum of 3 years of substance use disorder counseling experience.
* At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience preferred.
* Experience working in MAT/MOUD or opioid treatment programs preferred.
* Strong knowledge of clinical documentation, treatment planning, assessments, and compliance requirements.
* Experience with crisis intervention and multidisciplinary care.
