Salary: Base salary + Commission

Compensation and Benefits for this role include

To be successful in this position, youll need to be:

  • Licensed as a Property and Casualty insurance agent (not required to apply, you can attain your license after hiring)
  • Energized by meeting new people, understanding their situation, and helping them find the right insurance solutions for them
  • Motivated by personal responsibility and knowing that your results are tied to your input
  • Able to build expertise in personal insurance and risk management
  • Comfortable using computers and technology as a competitive advantage

As a member of the Personal Insurance sales team at Highstreet Mt. Pleasant, youll be expected to:

  • Write New Personal Lines policies Home, Auto, Umbrella, additional lines as needed
  • Share technical expertise about insurance and risk management, matching client needs with products and coverages
  • Complete day-to-day sales activities prospecting via phone, networking, email, meetings, and any other ways to create leads
  • Provide service to your clients endorsements, questions, claims, policy reviews. Producers who grow their book large enough are given help servicing so they can continue to spend 80% of their time working with new clients.
  • Develop a niche or expertise that allows you to hit growth goals year over year
