Obtains high-quality scans by following proper exam protocols and adapting procedures to each patient's medical situation. Other duties as assigned. Confirms patient and exam accuracy using two patient identifiers before administering exams. Performs, documents, and reports all procedures in accordance with departmental policy. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Abdomen, Abdominal Doppler, OB/Gyn, Small Parts, Vascular, and Interventional Sonographic procedures Ability to learn and master new tasks related to the computer and AGFA Pacs system Ability to communicate effectively and work with people of various diverse backgrounds Ability to function independently with little or no supervision Ability to read and write legibly in English and perform basic mathematics skills Education: High School Grad or equivalent [Required] Associate [Preferred] Bachelor's [Preferred] Work Experience: 2+ years experience in vascular sonography [Preferred] Licenses and Certifications: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer RDMS (AB) [Required] Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with OB/GYN Spec (RDMS-OBGYN) [Required] Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) [Required] OR Registered Technologist - Vascular Sonography RT(VS)(ARRT) [Required] OR Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) [Required] Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] Physical Requirements: (Please click the link below to view work requirements) Physical Requirements - Pay Range: $28.97 - $53.88 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law) Certain positions are subject to Florida Level 2 background screening, including fingerprinting, as required by state law.
