Learn about SKF at Position Summary This position is responsible for material handling in support of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and production. Key Responsibilities Lift and move items/packages as required using safe lifting techniques. Load and/or unload trucks in support of shipping / receiving activities. Ability to use the ERP system related to inventory moves and stock review. Perform other functions in the shipping and receiving process as required. Use a computer as needed for communications and reference of documentation related to job requirements. Maintain housekeeping in the areas of responsibility and support 5s activity. Transport goods in company vehicles between plants and outside process vendors as required. Package outgoing shipments and parcels as required. Perform cycle counting as required. Performs other duties as assigned or required. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED Experience: Experience in shipping, receiving, material handling, and/or warehousing is desired. Forklift experience is desired. Technical Skills: Must be capable of comprehending written quality instructions and standard operating procedures.
