Solar Installation Technician

The Solar Installation Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting residential solar systems while adhering to safety standards and ensuring high-quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities: Solar Installation: Install photovoltaic (PV) systems according to design specifications, manufacturer guidelines, and company standards. Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members, including electricians, project managers, roof lead, and foreman to ensure seamless project execution. Independent Work: Execute solo tasks, such as non-roof repairs or maintenance, with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve system malfunctions, ensuring optimal system performance. Safety Compliance: Follow OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and others. Quality Control: Perform inspections and testing to verify system performance and ensure all installations meet regulatory requirements. Documentation: Accurately document work completed, materials used, and system specifications for each project. Qualifications: Experience: 1-3 years of solar installation experience (residential or commercial). Skills: Licenses/Certifications: Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights on rooftops or ladders. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis. Unfortunately, a current or future need for sponsorship is not supported or available for this position. Salary Range: $44,970.00 - $71,950.00 *This range reflects base pay only.
