About This Role

Nurture the growth and development of children in a safe, healthy, and quality Christian environment by preparing them for elementary school, while fostering their vocabulary, social skills, and behavior.

The successful Lead Teacher will manage the classroom in accordance with established guidelines and the center's goals, ensuring a stimulating and engaging experience for all children.

What You'll Do

• Develops a developmentally appropriate educational experience in the classroom that meets the needs of all students.
• Teaches students to follow rules and procedures in the classroom and school, maintaining a positive and respectful learning environment.
• Evaluates students' progress throughout the year, assessing their preparedness for advancing to the next class and making informed decisions about their educational needs.

• Ability to plan, manage, and evaluate curriculum.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate with teachers, support staff, parents, and students in a positive and constructive way.
• Enthusiastic personality that will engage children.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with adults and children.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Extensive knowledge of early childhood development principles and developmentally appropriate educational practices.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a teacher or teacher's assistant, or minimum of 2 years childcare experience, is a plus.
• Additional qualifications or certifications in early childhood education are a bonus.
