General Superintendent

Flowtec Construction is partnering with an established $500M general contractor looking to add a General Superintendent to its Chicago leadership team. The company delivers a diverse range of projects throughout Chicagoland, including: Commercial interiors Hospitality Entertainment venues Specialty projects This is a senior field leadership position with responsibility for the performance of multiple projects and the continued development of the company’s field operations. Responsibilities will include: Providing leadership and oversight to Superintendents across multiple active projects Planning field staffing and allocating resources across the company’s project portfolio Supporting projects during preconstruction with constructability, logistics and scheduling input Reviewing project progress and identifying schedule, safety or quality risks Stepping into challenging projects and developing practical recovery plans Establishing consistent field processes and operational standards Supporting the recruitment, onboarding and development of field personnel Mentoring Superintendents and helping build the company’s next generation of field leaders Strengthening relationships with clients, subcontractors and project partners Partnering with executive leadership on operational planning and future growth This is an opportunity to influence how a successful general contractor delivers its projects, develops its people and continues scaling throughout the Chicago market.
