About the Role Were seeking a compassionate, licensed Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient treatment team serving individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. In this vital role, the Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides medical and psychiatric care for patients receiving treatment for substance use disorders at Serenity Lane. The NP performs assessments, prescribes and manages medications (including Medication-Assisted Treatment), and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery. Care must be consistent with evidence-based practices, Oregon Health Authority (OHA) standards, and the mission of the treatment center. What Youll Do (Please note: this is not an exhaustive list of responsbilities and duties) * Conduct comprehensive medical and psychiatric assessments for patients with substance use and co-occurring disorders. * Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions within the Nurse Practitioner scope of practice. * Prescribe and monitor medications, including medication-assisted treatment (MAT), in accordance with federal and state regulations. * Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. * Monitor patient progress, withdrawal symptoms, medication effectiveness, and overall safety throughout treatment. * Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, recovery, and relapse prevention. * Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR). * Ensure compliance with HIPAA, DEA, Oregon Health Authority (OHA), and organizational policies and procedures. * Support trauma-informed, evidence-based, and harm reduction approaches to patient care. * Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer review, and continuing education to promote high-quality clinical care. What Were Looking For * Current, unrestricted Oregon Nurse Practitioner (NP) license. * Master's or Doctorate in Nursing with national certification as an FNP, Adult-Gerontology NP, or PMHNP. * Current DEA registration and buprenorphine waiver (or ability to obtain within six months). * 12 years of experience in primary care, psychiatry, addiction medicine, or behavioral health. * Knowledge of medication-assisted treatment (MAT), co-occurring mental health disorders, and Oregon Health Authority (OHA) regulations. * Experience in substance use disorder treatment, detoxification, or psychiatric care, preferred. * Training in motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, and recovery-oriented practices, a plus. * Familiarity with Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR 309) and behavioral health regulations, preferred. * Strong clinical judgment, communication, collaboration, and patient-centered care skills. * Ability to pass an ORCHARDS background check and drug screen (Serenity Lane is a Cannabis THC-free workplace) What We Offer * Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance * 401k Retirement Plan * Education Assistance * Paid Time Off & Sick Pay * Wellness Programs *?
