Job Summary:

The Transportation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, managing employee schedules, and enforcing company policies. Strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and effective communication are essential to support a productive work environment and deliver excellent customer service.

Job Duties:

Models Unifi's Safety goals, mission, vision and values and promotes adherence through various methods of communication.

Leads and supports an employee-engaged culture.

Oversees and coordinates Airport Shuttle Service activities to ensure a safe, reliable, efficient and effective operation.

Monitors and enforces safe and compliant working environment in accordance with TSA, DOT, USPS and OSHA regulations and all applicable laws.

Enforces Company policies and procedures including corrective action and promotes Unifi policy on Equal Employment Opportunity, Anti-Harassment and diversity initiatives.

Assists in recruiting, administrative, payroll, employee scheduling, and general administrative duties.

Monitors staffing and overtime use and operational and financial performance of assigned shift/station.

Promotes team building initiatives and performs coaching/mentoring activities to develop and motivate team members.

Ensures information is communicated in a clear, comprehensive manner.

Complete work in a safe and secure manner, following company safety and operational standards

Immediately report safety and security incidents as well as potential hazards in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.

Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill, experience, and capabilities expected for this position.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state requirements.

Possess a valid in-state Commercial Driver's License (Class A/B) plus Passenger Endorsement.

Physical requirements:

Must be able to constantly lift, move up to 70 lbs; Frequently lift, move weights greater than 70 lbs; and constantly walk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel and bend.

Working conditions:

Must be able to work in rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends and holidays, overtime.

Must be able and open to work in outside weather conditions which may include severe seasonal elements.

Must be able to work in an office bound environment.
