LaborMax Staffing is hiring Maskers for a manufacturing and metal finishing facility in the Orlando area. This role works with mixed metal parts as part of a cross-functional manufacturing team, using paper travelers, blueprints, and customer-specific documentation to complete precise masking and surface preparation tasks. Successful maskers may have opportunities to advance into finishing technician roles.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow blueprints, paper travelers, and customer-specific documentation.
• Apply masking materials, coatings, and adhesives to mixed metal parts.
• Prepare surfaces using tape, lacquers, acetone, blades, hand tools, and other masking materials.
• Assemble, disassemble, and prep parts as required.
• Apply coatings and masking evenly and accurately.
• Inspect completed work for quality and compliance with specifications.
• Perform rework on parts that do not pass inspection.
• Follow safety and quality procedures while maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail when working with small parts and detailed production instructions.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a cross-functional manufacturing team.
• Professional communication and dependable attendance.
• Must pass a clear background check.
• Must be drug-free and able to pass a drug test.

Preferred Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in metal finishing or a similar manufacturing environment.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience with metal masking, coating application, and surface preparation.
• Experience using hand tools and handling adhesives.
• Experience with quality inspection and rework processing.
• Strong written communication and teamwork skills.
