Low Voltage Technician

We are currently seeking: Low Voltage Technician We’re seeking a motivated Entry-Level Low Voltage Technicianto join our structured cabling and security installation team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a hands‑on career in the low-voltage field, including data, communications, and security systems. You’ll work closely with experienced technicians on commercial and residential job sites to install and support low-voltage infrastructure. Responsibilities Supervisory Responsibilities None Duties/Responsibilities Pull, route, and secure Cat6/6A and fiber optic cables. Install devices such as jacks, faceplates, patch panels, cameras, and network hardware. Assist with mounting equipment racks, conduits, and cable supports. Label and document cable runs according to site standards. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area. Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment under supervision. Assist senior technicians with terminations, testing, and troubleshooting. Perform additional duties as assigned by the crew leader or project manager. Qualifications Required Skills/Abilities Strong attention to detail, work ethic, and willingness to learn. Dependable and punctual with good communication skills. Prior experience in construction, electrical, or low-voltage work is a plus (but not required). Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Preferred (Not Required) OSHA 10 certification Basic understanding of cabling standards and color codes BICSI Installer I Certification or equivalent Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50+ lbs., climb ladders, and work in various environments (indoor/outdoor).
