Data Scientist/ Data Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Scientist with a strong focus on analytics to join the Ecommerce Product Analytics team on a 6-month contract. This role emphasizes data-informed decision-making through behavioral analysis, A/B test support, and performance reporting. The ideal candidate will work closely with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional partners to improve user experience, conversion, and overall business performance. Key Responsibilities Analyze user behavior and conduct funnel analysis to uncover actionable insights. Support A/B test design, execution, and interpretation. Build dashboards and monitor KPIs to guide product decisions. Surface data quality issues and contribute to data integrity improvements. Translate complex data findings into clear business storytelling. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define and measure success metrics. Participate in weekly/monthly reporting and updates calls. Work independently and manage stakeholder expectations effectively. Required Qualifications Experience with Looker and Amplitude for product analytics. Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis. Background in eCommerce analytics and performance tracking. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently and handle multiple reporting tasks. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Python for data analysis. Familiarity with Optimizely for experimentation and testing. Understanding of machine learning systems and pipelines.
