The Production Technician is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of production equipment, including proper machine setup and job execution according to standard operating procedures. This role serves as a technical expert, supporting troubleshooting efforts, mentoring operators, and contributing to process improvements and operational excellence.

• Monitor machine performance and product quality throughout the shift
• Identify defects, process deviations, and equipment concerns, and take corrective action
• Complete inspections, quality checks, and documentation accurately and on time
• Minimize waste, scrap, downtime, and rework while maintaining production output

• Interpret job specifications, work orders, and instructions
• Perform machine setups, changeovers, and adjustments (as trained)
• Troubleshoot equipment and operational issues to restore performance
• Escalate complex mechanical or electrical issues to Maintenance

• Follow all standard operating procedures and work instructions
• Assist in developing and improving SOPs and setup documentation
• Support product trials, R&D activities, and process validation
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, efficiency, quality, safety)

• Train and mentor operators on equipment operation, quality expectations, and safety practices
• Support team members to ensure smooth shift operations
• Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and teamwork

• Maintain accurate production, quality, and downtime records
• Ensure clear shift-to-shift communication
• Keep supervisors informed of performance, risks, and issues

• Follow all safety requirements, GMPs, HACCP standards, and company policies
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Use proper PPE and follow lockout/tagout procedures
• Support sanitation and food safety programs

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 5–7 years of experience in printing, converting, packaging, or a similar industry
• Strong mechanical aptitude and advanced tool knowledge
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, trustworthy, and professional

✅ The schedule will be Day shift - Monday through Thursday from 6:15 AM to 4:35 PM, with Fridays as needed.
