Job Summary and Qualifications

​​The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for cleaning, decontaminating, assembling, sterilizing, and storing all reusable surgical instruments for patient care. The Sterile Processing Technician also provides all needed instruments for surgery and outside departments.​

  Your responsibilities will include: 

• Cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing, and organizing surgical instruments and supplies following safety standards 
• Monitoring sterilization cycles, documenting results, and resolving issues promptly to deliver on our commitment to safe, high-quality care 
• Preparing and organizing instrument trays and surgical rooms based on the daily schedule and procedural needs 
• Safely handling and disposing of biohazardous materials while keeping the work area clean and organized 
• Working closely with nurses and surgeons to anticipate needs and support smooth, efficient surgeries
