Responsibilities
- Operate CT imaging equipment to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images for interpretation.
- Perform CT procedures and, as needed, general radiography and fluoroscopy.
- Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images and transmit images to the radiology team via PACS/teleradiology.
- Maintain accurate patient records, billing information, and ensure HIPAA compliance.
- Maintain the integrity of medical images and data; perform routine equipment maintenance and calibrations; manage supply inventory.
- Assist with other imaging modalities as assigned and participate in quality and safety initiatives.

Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: ARRT certification for CT (R)(CT) or RT (R)(CT) required; Advanced CT Certification required in OR and HI (preferred in CA).
- Education: Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required from an approved vendor per policy.
- Additional Licenses/Certifications: Fluoroscopy license preferred in CA and OR; Venipuncture certification preferred in CA and OR.
- Experience: At least two years of recent field experience; current nursing license per the state of assignment; ability to work in a hospital setting.
- Other: Must maintain credentialing requirements and operational readiness for a hospital imaging department.
