Job Description
We are looking for a detail-driven and skilled accountant in Watertown, SD, with 3 to 4 years of hands-on accounting and tax experience who is interested in finding a long-term home. Our firm has opportunity for advancement, professional growth, and potential path to equity in the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of individual, business tax, payroll and sales tax returns.
- Monthly client accounting and analysis of financials each month.
- Communicate effectively with clients and coworkers.
- Research independently to solve questions or client issues.
- Ability to plan for and meet deadlines on time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial calculations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
