Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team. This position involves providing critical care in a high-paced environment while ensuring the utmost standards of patient care and safety.

Key responsibilities include:

• Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to patients in the emergency department.
• Collaborate with medical staff and other healthcare professionals to provide patient-centered care.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and intravenous therapies according to protocols.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Work schedule details:

• Full-time position: night shifts consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week (19:00 - 07:00).
• Weekend and holiday shifts required, with varying scheduled days based on staffing needs.
• Block scheduling is not guaranteed.

Qualifications include:

• Current Registered Nurse license in good standing, with a pending VA license accepted.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required; TNCC certification accepted pending, but must be obtained before starting.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required, including at least 1 year in a Level 1 trauma center or 2 years in a Level 2 trauma center, with some pediatric experience.

Time off and holidays:

• Approved time off up to 40 hours available; restrictions around Labor Day apply.
• Every other holiday commitment required.
