Contracts Manager

Responsibilities:
- Contract Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire contract lifecycle, from initial drafting and negotiation through execution, performance monitoring, and closeout/renewal.
- Drafting and Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including but not limited to:
- Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
- Software licensing agreements
- Cloud service agreements
- Non-disclosure agreements (NDAs)
- Vendor agreements
- Partnership agreements
- Compliance: Ensure all contracts comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. Stay up-to-date on changes in contract law and industry best practices.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential contractual risks. Develop and implement strategies to minimize risk exposure.
- Contract Administration: Maintain accurate and organized contract records, including electronic and physical files. Track contract milestones, obligations, and deadlines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including sales, finance, operations, and legal teams, to ensure contract terms are aligned with business objectives.
- Vendor Management: May be involved in vendor selection and negotiation of vendor contracts.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve contract management processes and procedures.
- Training: Provide training to internal teams on contract-related matters.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on contract status, key metrics, and potential risks.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum of [Number] years of experience in contract management, preferably in the IT industry.
- Strong understanding of contract law and commercial principles.
- Experience with negotiating and drafting a variety of IT-related contracts.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) or similar certification is a plus.
- Experience working with [Specific IT related areas, e.g., SaaS, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity] contracts.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
