Accountant II

About the Role Are you an experienced Accountant looking to utilize your experience and skills within a collaborative environment? This position is responsible for preparing and reconciling data for posting to the general ledger and other financial statements. The pay range for this salaried position is $58,433 - $73,042 | FLSA: Exempt Your Impact Prepares and reconciles data for posting to financial statements including balance sheet, profit and loss, subsidiary statements, etc. Reviews and analyzes general ledger account balances for accuracy and makes recommendations for corrections. Evaluates financial reports and records to verify accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records. Performs monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts. Prepares accurate and timely reports and accounting statements for management. Analyzes trends, costs, revenues, and other commitments used in predicting future revenues and expenses. Reports financial information to management and offers suggestions regarding resource utilization, tax strategies, and assumptions underlying budget forecasts. Analyzes financial information and prepares financial reports to determine and/or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within the organization. Follows and suggests established regulations, guidelines, policies, procedures, etc. to ensure compliance to general accounting practices. May be assigned additional duties and/or special projects. About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance and 2-4 years accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience with Oracle or similar ERP system. Strong analytical skills required. High degree of confidentiality needed due to the nature of the information with which this position works. Must be 18 years of age or older. Standard in office days are Monday and Wednesday. The third and fourth in office day is determined by divisional management.
