Lend your expertise to support student success for the 2026-2027 school year as a contract Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) working within a school environment. This full-time position spans from late August 2026 to late June 2027, providing consistent support across a standard school calendar. Daily hours are 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., totaling 35 hours each week.

Your primary responsibility will be assisting a student with G-tube feedings and providing one-to-one nursing support, including riding the bus to and from school with the student in the mornings. When the student is absent, on select Wednesdays, or during afternoons, you’ll also have the opportunity to extend your support to other schools as part of a collaborative team of dedicated professionals.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Washington LPN license and current certification.
• Completed fingerprinting clearance through OSPI (Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction).
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is strongly preferred.
• Comfort and experience with G-tube feedings and bus transportation support.
• Demonstrated reliability, flexibility, and compassion for school-aged children.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, families, and school staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized nursing care to an assigned student, focusing on G-tube feedings and monitoring wellness throughout the school day.
• Provide safe transportation support by accompanying the student on the bus each morning.
• Assist with additional nursing duties across other buildings as scheduling allows.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation, follow care plans, and adhere to school and state policies.
