Packer / Inspector - St Charles

Inspector/PackerJoin our manufacturing team as an Inspector/Packer, where you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, trimming, and packaging of our finished products. This role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness.Responsibilities:Trim excess flash from products using knives, punch, reamer, and/or spin trimming equipment.Pack products into appropriate cartons, using caps, sides, and banding to secure and ensure safe transport.Oversee machine operations; notify appropriate personnel when any issues occur to maintain product quality.Inspect products for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards before being packed.Maintain ink trays and glue tanks, ensuring they are filled as needed.Complete necessary paperwork, ensuring accuracy in labels and product information.Perform general housekeeping duties to keep the production area clean and orderly.Adhere to all safety standards and wear required protective gear such as hair nets, safety glasses, earplugs, and gloves.Requirements:Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently.Good vision to inspect product quality and ensure precise handling.Ability to work in conditions that may include close proximity to moving parts, noise, and dust.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds continuously and up to 50 pounds frequently.Frequent standing, walking, and bending are required.Work involves exposure to high temperatures, noise, and dust.Required safety gear includes hair nets, safety glasses, earplugs, and gloves.Available Shifts & Pay Rates:1st Shift: $16.00/hr2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM | $17.00/hr3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM | $18.00/hrIf you are meticulous and committed to quality assurance and product safety, apply now to become an integral part of our production team.
