LPC-MHSP-S / Clinical Supervisor — Middle Tennessee
Make an Impact Through Therapy and Supervision

Ellie Mental Health is looking for a Tennessee-licensed LPC-MHSP-S to join our Middle Tennessee team. This position combines direct clinical work with professional supervision for counselors working toward independent licensure.

The Role

As a Clinical Supervisor, you'll maintain your own clinical practice while providing guidance and oversight to pre-licensed therapists. You'll help ensure clients receive thoughtful, individualized care while supporting supervisees as they progress toward full professional licensure.

Primary Functions

• Perform initial and ongoing clinical assessments and identify appropriate diagnoses
• Work with clients to establish measurable, individualized treatment goals
• Deliver outpatient counseling using interventions suited to the needs of each client
• Complete progress notes, assessments, treatment plans, and other required clinical records
• Provide clinical supervision to counselors seeking independent licensure
• Offer feedback, consultation, and professional guidance to supervisees
• Monitor clinical documentation and promote adherence to applicable standards and procedures
• Maintain a combined minimum of 27 service hours each week, including qualifying supervision activities
• Communicate and coordinate care with families, case managers, physicians, schools, other providers, and members of the clinical team when appropriate
• Participate in staff meetings, continuing education, trainings, and other professional activities
• Contribute to the ongoing development and effectiveness of the clinic

Qualifications

To be considered, candidates should have:

• A master's degree or higher in counseling, behavioral health, or a closely related field 3+ years 
• Active Tennessee LPC-MHSP-S licensure and the required qualifications to provide clinical supervision
• At least three years of relevant clinical experience
• Demonstrated experience with diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, and clinical recordkeeping
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to establish appropriate therapeutic and supervisory boundaries
• Experience working effectively with clients representing a broad range of backgrounds and needs
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and electronic health record technology
• Valant experience is a plus
