Position Overview We are in search of a talented and caring Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to enhance a dedicated team of imaging experts providing outstanding patient care. You will utilize cutting-edge ultrasound technology to conduct diagnostic procedures, work alongside a collaborative team of health professionals, and offer patients reassurance through precise and timely imaging services. Description of Responsibilities
- Conduct a diverse array of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small-parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, clearly explaining each step with empathy and professionalism
- Work intimately with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
- Skillfully operate and maintain imaging equipment while promptly addressing any technical issues
- Thoroughly document procedures and maintain patient records within the electronic medical system
- Remain current with advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and industry best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
- Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
- Exceptional technical proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to function independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
