Overnight Security Guard — $20/Hour | 1099 Contractor

Position: Overnight Security Guard / Patrol
Pay: $20.00 per hour — Paid Weekly
Schedule: 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Days: Monday through Sunday
Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
Vehicle: Personal vehicle required

We are looking for a reliable, alert, and responsible Overnight Security Guard to monitor and patrol two properties during the overnight hours.

This position requires someone who is comfortable driving between three properties, walking the parking lots, monitoring who is coming in and out, and watching for unusual or suspicious activity.

Important Contractor Requirements

• This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position
• Pay is $20.00 per hour
• Paid weekly
• Schedule is Monday through Sunday, 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• The contractor must provide and use their own personal vehicle to travel between the three properties and conduct patrols
• Must have a reliable personal vehicle suitable for regular overnight patrols
• Must maintain a valid driver's license and appropriate vehicle insurance
• The contractor is responsible for their own applicable taxes as a 1099 independent contractor
• Must be available to work overnight shifts throughout the week

Job Responsibilities

• Work overnight from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• Drive between and patrol two properties
• Conduct regular vehicle and walking patrols
• Monitor the rental parking lot and observe vehicles and individuals entering and leaving
• Watch for suspicious, unusual, or unauthorized activity
• Walk the properties and parking lots regularly throughout the shift
• Check entrances, parking areas, gates, and other designated areas
• Report suspicious activity, property damage, safety concerns, or unauthorized access
• Maintain accurate patrol and incident reports
• Stay alert and visible throughout the shift
• Contact management or emergency services when appropriate
• Follow all security procedures and company instructions

Qualifications

• Previous security, patrol, property management, or related experience preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable personal vehicle
• Appropriate vehicle insurance
• Good driving record preferred
• Strong observation and communication skills
• Dependable, punctual, and responsible
• Comfortable working independently during overnight hours
• Comfortable driving and walking around properties throughout the night
• Able to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions
• Must be able to remain alert and attentive throughout the entire shift
